As people take their seats, I see the whole spectrum. Young Indian guys with designer-esque jeans, shiny black shoes, and maybe a jean jacket to match. A young Sikh man and his wife snuggle. An older Belgian woman with a bohemian look talks about her travels in the seat behind me. A quiet white man takes it all in. Coolies — Indian men in red uniforms — carry passengers’ luggage on their heads as they board the train. A waiter hands out water bottles to everyone. The train starts to move.
